Planting
You can plant the narcissi bulbs immediately after receiving them in either the ground or in a pot. When planting the bulbs, make sure that the depth of the hole is twice as large as the height of the bulb. A 5 cm bulb thus needs to be planted in a 10 cm hole. Spacing of narcissi is approximately 10-15 cm. Plant the bulbs in good, loose soil with the roots pointing downwards. Fill the hole with soil and press firmly. You can plant the bulbs using a trowel or a special bulb planter. For larger groups plant more bulbs into a larger hole. Combining summer narcissi The fragrant flowers of the narcissi complement other bulbous plants. Combine these varieties of narcissi with Bessera Elegans and Tigridia Pavonia. Whether combined in a border or in a flower pot, they will have a striking appearance.
Care
The bulbs of summer narcissi can remain in the same spot for several years. After flowering add some fertiliser and cut off the faded flower stems so that the energy can go back into the bulb. Only cut off the foliage when it has turned yellow. With proper care, your narcissi will produce lots of flowers by next spring.
