Fill the hole with soil and press firmly. You can plant the bulbs using a trowel or a special bulb planter. For larger groups plant more bulbs into a larger hole.

Combining summer narcissi

The fragrant flowers of the narcissi complement other bulbous plants. Combine these varieties of narcissi with Bessera Elegans and Tigridia Pavonia. Whether combined in a border or in a flower pot, they will have a striking appearance.

The bulbs of summer narcissi can remain in the same spot for several years. After flowering add some fertiliser and cut off the faded flower stems so that the energy can go back into the bulb. Only cut off the foliage when it has turned yellow. With proper care, your narcissi will produce lots of flowers by next spring.

You will enjoy these striking narcissi 'Grand Soleil d'Or', 'Avalanche' and 'Erlicheer' in your garden approximately 8 weeks after planting. Even if you plant them in spring. you will have beautiful flowers in your garden for summer. They can produce up to 12 flowers per stem. The flowers are very fragrant and will definitely attract many admirers, also fantastic as a cut flower in your living room.
