Succulent Jade plant Crassula green
Crassula
Pointy down
They look just like down! The compact Crassula tennelli has fine hairs on its grey leaves. The succulent needs very little care! Water the plant every two weeks in the summer and once every month in the winter. Let the soil dry out completely before you water again. The Crassula prefers too little water rather than too much. The plant likes sunlight, but not the blazing midday sun.

Planting+
The Crassula is delivered in a standard nursery pot. Put the nursery pot in a nice decorative pot and water the plant immediately.
The Crassula can also be planted in a larger flower pot so the plant has more room to grow. In that case, cover the bottom of the inner pot with a layer of hydro grains. Then add a layer of potting soil to the pot. Remove the nursery pot and plant the Crassula to 1 to 2 centimetres below the edge so there is room for the irrigation water. Fill the pot with fresh potting soil and press it down slightly. Water immediately after planting and preferably place the plant in the sunshine. The more light, the more new leaves!

Care+
Water the Crassula if the potting soil feels dry. Add a little plant food to the irrigation water in spring and in summer every now and then to give the plant some extra strength. The Crassula loves being outside in the summer. Do put the plant inside before frost sets in as it isn't winter hardy. This plant loves warmth and sunshine. On the window sill or above the radiator will do just fine.
