Stand your Echeveria in a warm and sunny spot.
This is a really nice houseplant for those difficult positions like the window-sill above a radiator. Echeveria will thrive on your patio or decking over summer too. These plants love the sun!
The more light it gets, the more new leaves will develop!
Water your Echeveria regularly, but the potting compost may be allowed to dry out a little between waterings. Feed a few times during pring and summer. Only water when the potting compost feels dry to the touch.
Stand the plant in a cooler position over the winter and do not water - this should encourage flowering but is not strictly necessary.
Beware of frost if kept outdoors on the patio – bring indoors if frost is forecast or your Echeveria will not survive!
Echeveria originated in the warm, dry regions of Central and South America. It was named after Mexican botanist Atanasio Echeverria y Godoy.
Echeveria is a classified as a succulent (Crassulaceae).
