Water extra in periods of drought. Mint flowers in July to September. Stand the pot in a sunny, partly shaded spot. Be aware that if you are thinking of planting mint directly in the ground that it has a tendency to spread! Prevent this by planting the pot with the mint in the garden and the roots will be locked into the pot.
