The double-flowered primula mix will look really appealing in a spacious planter, flower pot, or a basket. You can create a cheerful winter hanging basket with this Primula acaulis ‘Double Princess’ mixed together with cyclamen and the white Christmas rose (Helleborus niger). Plant them close to each other for a maximum effect.
During the flowering period Primula acaulis ‘Double Princess’ mixed can be enjoyed as an indoor plant placed in a cool spot.
Water your Primula acaulis ‘Double Princess’ mixed regularly, so that the soil doesn't dry out. By regularly removing the dead flowers of the double-flowering primulas you will encourage a second flowering. For an extra rich flowering we recommend adding plant food to the water on a regular basis during the flowering period. Even though these plants are winter hardy we recommend potting up these mixed Primula temporarily and keeping them indoors in a cool spot. After flowering, the primroses can be planted in the garden.
