Description-

Summer garden eye-catcher

This miniature gladiolus goes by the name of Glamini. Glamini has great characteristics that you can enjoy for several years. As it is low-growing it will not snap or blow down in the wind, so it doesn’t have to be banished to the back of the border for protection. Glamini can be planted in beds and borders, pots and containers. Like all gladioli, it flowers richly and is excellent for cutting.

Planting+
Glamini 'Christopher' can be planted in early spring. Plant in well-drained fertile soil, add some sharp sand or gravel to help the rainwater drain away below the corms as Gladiolus prefer rich, well-drained soil. Place the Glamini corms pointed side, up 7-10 cm deep and approximately 10 cm apart. Add some chalk to the soil during winter months. This mini Glamini grows well in a warm, sunny area.
Care+
When the Glamini's flower buds emerge, we recommend every 2 weeks to use a fertilizer. Glamini's stems are so strong and naturally sturdy that they do not need any support. Cut off its faded stems completley. It is recommended that Glamini 'Christopher' is planted in a different place each year.
Specifics+
The free-flowering Glamini flowers are beautiful. Excellent for cutting and last a long time in a vase. Definitely plant a group of Glamini flowers in your garden. Preferably cut the flowers in the early morning so that the bottom leaves are fresh. Immediately place the stems in a vase full of lukewarm water and add cut flower food. Due to their strong stems, Glamini 'Christopher' is tolerant of all weather conditions.
