Planting+

'Lasagne' bulb pack 'Mix & Match' comes in the most delightful mix of colours:

  • 1st (top) Layer: 12 x Crocus (Crocus) 'Jeanne d'Arc' and 15 x tulip (Tulipa) 'Showwinner' bulbs
  • 2nd Layer: 7 x Mixed Hyacinth (Hyacinthus) bulbs
  • 3rd Layer: 15 x Mixed tulip (Tulipa) 'Regenboog' bulbs
The bulbs will all flower in this order.

Planting in layers made easy with flower bulbs!

Choose a planter large enough for the 3 bulb lasagne’s to fit in (Ø 28 cm) and plant them one after the other, layer 3 being the deepest. After planting stand the pot outdoors and water it a little in spring when it is very dry. From the beginning of March ‘let the flower festival commence’!

What do I need?

  • Watering can

How do I care for the flower bulbs?
Water the flower bulbs abundantly in spring and summer. The soil needs to stay thoroughly moist, especially during dry spells. Flower bulbs in a pot or planter can best be put inside in winter. Keep them in a cool and frost-free place.

Replacing a flower bulb
It’s a good idea to plant new flower bulbs every year. After all, they are at their best the first year.

Extra+

Bulbs come in various shapes and sizes... and colours! Over the years, there have been thousands of different cultivars created so really, there is a suitable bulb out there for everyone.
Those with mid-height and taller stems (> 20 cm high) are particularly suited to growing as cut flowers for in a pretty vase.
