Heuchera thrives in garden or planter
Plant the root ball at the correct depth in loose soil – top of the root ball should be just below soil level. Fill the hole and press firmly down, watering well. Heuchera micrantha ‘Palace Purple’ will thrive in normal, permeable soil in full sun or part shade.
If using a planter, ensure holes in the base to allow excess water to drain off.
Crevice alumroot is really easy to grow! Water it regularly to prevent it drying out and best would be to feed it regularly too in the summer. Cut out less attractive leaves and the plant will grow new ones in the summer - especially as the weather improves it will continue to form new leaf.
The leaves have a fascinating pattern of light and dark markings. Looks great in groups in beds and borders. Or plant an edging of these colourful leaf plants along the garden path. They will also look very attractive in planters and pots. Heuchera is hardy and retains its decorative leaves over the winter. The white flowers will appear in the summer but they are not as obvious as the lovely coloured and marked leaves.
