How do I plant the Dischidia in a pot?
As soon as possible upon receipt, place the Dischidia in a hanging pot or high flower pot. The branches must be able to hang. Use an ornamental planter with a hole and matching saucer, so that the water can run away. A pot in which water is collected from an inner pot is another option.
Place a layer of hydro grains on the bottom, remove the growers’ pot, and place the plant in the middle of the ornamental planter. The Dischidia should be about 2 cm below the rim. Then fill the pot with fresh potting soil and press it lightly. Give the plant a lot of water immediately after planting.

How do I care for the Dischidia?
Water the Dischidia regularly and make sure it has a warm spot out of direct sun. Close to a radiator or in a draft is not a good spot. You can also let the soil dry out occasionally in between. Rainwater is best for this plant. It’s also good to occasionally add plant food to the water. The Dischidia can withstand droughts very well.
Dischidia originated in the tropical rainforests of South East Asia. This is an evergreen epiphytic plant with hanging branches. These plants can produce lots of tiny urn shaped flowers all year round, usually white. The round foliage is a dark green.
Dischidia is classified under Apocynaceae.
