The herb is loved by chefs for serving with sweet desserts or as a perfect taste surprise in cocktails. Basil is a perfect microgreen. These are vegetables that you can harvest at a young stage and eat raw. You can sow the herb seeds all year round. Sow them indoors from March to July before moving them outdoors. Move the plants outdoors as soon as temperatures rise above 20°C. Lemon basil can be harvested already after two weeks.
Plant the herb seeds in a sunny spot. After sowing, water the seeds adequately. The herb seeds come in a bag containing approximately 1 gram.
