The Garden Pack contains six different varieties of seeds. Sow each variety separately. Parsley, radishes, lettuce and carrots can be sown from April onwards directly in the ground. Sow in rows and thin out any excess seedlings. For beans, sow in mid-May when the temperature rises above 15° C. Place the beans individually, or in groups of three in a 3 cm deep hole. For tomato seeds, sow early in March in trays that are preferably in a heated room or greenhouse. Once the seedlings emerge they can be moved to a cooler area. Transplant when the seedlings have two pair of leaves (transplant into a pot). From mid-April they should slowly get used to the outside temperature or the temperature in the greenhouse. Tomato plants can be grown in a large pot or a growing bag (a bag with potting soil). All varieties require a fairly sunny spot and rich, nutritious soil. Parsley grows also well in partial shade.
It is important to make sure soil is weed free, before sowing seeds. Loosen the soil and if necessary improve the soil by mixing in some garden fertiliser, rake the surface to make it smooth. These vegetable plants need regular watering. Do not allow the soil around the roots to dry out. Remove weeds regularly for better development of the plants. .
Our pack consists of six different varieties of vegetable seeds in separate packets. Parsley, green beans, tomatoes, radishes, lettuce and carrots. They are all healthy and very easy to grow. They are suitable for the garden and also for large flower pots or patio containers on the patio or decking.
