Black tulip and pink heart mix

What do black tulips and pink hearts have in common? That's right, they are both so special that you cannot take your eyes off them. The black tulip "Queen of Night" is actually dark purple. It is one of the darkest tulips in existence. They begin blooming in April. This will continue for months. The bleeding heart (Dicentra spectabilis) produces pink/white "hearts" on 75-cm stems. You will receive the bleeding hearts as bare-root stock in sugar cane sacking. This is more environmentally friendly than plastic nursery pots. The roots are shipped fresh from the ground. They are already one year old. This gives them additional strength, enabling them to grow faster than they would in a nursery pot. Plants grown from bare-root stock also adapt to their new environment more easily. They flower better and they are more economical. Bare-root stock plants grow when it becomes warmer. They are winter-hardy perennials. They can be planted at any time, provided that the ground is not frozen. Keep the soil around the bleeding heart moist. The tulips only need extra water during dry spells. The "Queen of Night" and bleeding heart can be planted in the garden or in flower pots. The tulips need full or half sun. The bleeding heart prefers half shade.
