Mosquito repellent

Flowers that repels mosquitoes! The lovely flowers of the geranium 'Mosquitaway Eva' (Pelargonium) have an amazing, fresh lemon scent. The lemon-scented geraniums decorate the garden with tropical violet-red and white flowers. We can enjoy the charming flowers from summer until late autumn.
The geranium is not winter hardy. Before the first night frost, we put the plant in a light and cool place (7-10 degrees). We cut the branches back a little and remove the old leaves. Place the plant in full sun. Water the Pelargonium immediately after planting. Then we give them a bit of water every morning. Keep the root ball moist. For even more profuse blooming, we add some plant food to its water every week.

Planting
An Angel Group geranium (pelargonium) is a strong, early flowering plant for growing on the patio or decking. It needs a large enough pot with good drainage. Cover the base of the pot with potsherds or hydro-pellets and use fresh potting compost mixed with some sharp sand or grit. Plant your pelargonium from the Angel Group at the right depth and then fill the pot with more mixture. Press firmly in and water immediately. A porous pot can be lined in plastic before planting, or you could use a plastic pot and stand that in a larger planter. This helps the water not to evaporate so quickly so drying out the plant. Using geraniums (pelargoniums - Angel Group) as bedding The abundant flowers and the sturdy stems make Angel Group pelargoniums terrific bedding plants. Try edging your path, or fkill a box lined border with these pretty flowering plants. They bloom all summer long and are sure to be admired a lot. Do feed these plants regularly.
Care
Water your Pelargonium (Geranium, Angel Group) in the morning, not too much and not on the foliage if you can avoid it. Don’t allow the plant to dry out even although Pelargoniums are drought resistant. It mustn’t get too wet either because that could lead to root rot. Do ensure good drainage. If you snip of overblown flowers on Angel Group geraniums regularly, you will encourage new flowers to grow. We advise regular feeding with liquid plant food to get nice abundant flowering. Pelargonium (Angel Group) can be overwintered This upright geranium (pelargonium) from the Angel Group is not hardy, but this pot plant for on the patio can be kept over the winter. Cut it back a bit, removing old foliage. Move its pot to a cool and light area (7-10 °C) before the first frost. Water sparingly into the saucer but give it just enough to prevent it all drying out. Your pelargonium (Angel Group) can be potted up in the early spring, using fresh potting compost. That’s when to cut back all stems to about half. This needs done right above a new shoot. Then stand the plant somewhere warmer and feed and water as normal again. Put your pelargonium out again in mid-spring – beware of late frosts – and it can adorn your patio or decking from then on. If you keep the plant over winter, every year it can grow larger and can reach to become a big plant. Also, it makes a great houseplant.
Extra
These geraniums belonging to the Angel Group have thick succulent stems that can store a lot of moisture. Thanks to this 'moisture reservoir', the plant can tolerate drought and therefore does well in flower pots and planters in full sun.
