What do I need? A glass Pot or basket Moss or bark How do I plant the hyacinth? It’s best to plant the hyacinth in a glass as soon as possible after receipt. Fill the glass with water without it touching the bulb. There should be a distance of about 2 mm. Then put the glass in a dark area with a temperature of about 10 degrees Celsius. After a while, the roots will have grown substantially and the bud is visible. As soon as the bud is 4 cm long, you can place the hyacinth in a brighter room. The room must still be cool. Once the flower bud has completely grown out of the bulb, you can put the glass in the warmer living room. This Hyacinthus collection can also be grown in a flower pot or basket. Laat de bol iets boven de grond uitsteken en leg er wat mos of fijne boomschors op. Follow the above instructions and water the soil regularly.
