Feel free to leave the bulb in the ground it will grow bigger each year!

That’s why the bulb is fond of humic, calcareous and moderately moist soil. And, of course, a place with quite a bit of shadow. It needs some sunlight to grow, but placing it in direct sunlight is more than it can handle. Dig a spacious hole of about 10 cm deep and loosen the soil well. Improve the condition of the bottom by adding in potting soil and lime. Make sure that the bulb shoots upwards. Fill the hole up with soil, press it down and water it straight away.
