Planting
Plant the rich-flowering red hanging Petunia Jamboree® 'Scarlet' in a large plant pot or container as soon as possible after receiving. Use a pot or planter with holes in the base to aid drainage. Cover the bottom with a layer of potsherds or hydrograins. Fill the pot with potting compost and plant the petunias approximately 20 cm apart. Cover with compost, press firmly and water immediately after planting. Plants that get more sun produce more flowers, so give your plants a light, sunny position wherever possible.
Petunias grow beautifully in flower pots and hanging baskets
It is strongly advisable to plant petunias in pots, planters and hanging baskets. In spring, arrange the plants closely together in fresh potting compost. Plant alone or you can make beautiful combinations with plants such as Lobelia, hanging geraniums and Verbena.
Care
Using a fertiliser regularly provides a rich flowering of Petunia Jamboree® 'Scarlet' During the flowering period, add plant food to the irrigation water on a regular basis. Remove the faded flowers regularly in order to encourage the development of new flowers.
