Colourful and aromatic

Colourful, aromatic flowers. The geranium 'Mosquitaway Eva' (Pelargonium) has a fresh lemon scent and repels mosquitoes! 'Mosquitaway Eva', with its lemony scent, decorates the garden with tropical violet-red with white flowers. We can enjoy the charming flowers from summer until late autumn.
The geranium is not winter hardy. Before the first night frost, we put the plant in a light and cool place (7-10 degrees). We cut the branches back a little and remove the old leaves. Place the plant in full sun. Water the Pelargonium immediately after planting. Then we give them a bit of water every morning. Keep the root ball moist. For even more profuse blooming, we add some plant food to its water every week.

Planting
Geranium 'Mosquitaway Eva' is a strong, early flowering patio plant. Choose a pot or planter with holes in the bottom and cover the holes with potsherds or clay pellets. Line a porous pot with plastic or use a plastic pot in the first place. The plastic helps stop the root ball drying out. Use potting compost mixed with sharp sand and plant the Pelargonium (Angel Group) at the correct height in the pot. Fill with soil and press firmly down. Water immediately. Stand the pot in full sun. Using Geranium 'Mosquitaway Eva' in beds and borders. The very profuse flowering and sturdy stems of Pelargonium (Angel Group) makes it an excellent bedding plant. Planted along the edge of the garden path or in a group surrounded with Box hedging – they look great anywhere. They show throughout the summer and will reap many admiring glances. Feed regularly.
Care
Water your Pelargonium 'Mosquitaway Eva' sparingly every morning - do avoid wetting the leaves. The compost must not dry out, but it should not be too wet either as constant wet could lead to root rot - ensure adequate drainage. Pelargoniums are fairly drought resistant. Remove the faded flowers of geranium 'Mosquitaway Eva' regularly and you can then look forward to a second flowering. We recommend adding plant food to the water on a weekly basis during the summer for extra profuse flowering. Pelargonium (Angel Group) can be overwintered The scented Geranium 'Mosquitaway Eva' is not hardy, but you can keep it over the winter. Slightly cut back the stems and remove old foliage. Before the first frost, place the pot in a cool, light position (7-10˚ C). Water sparingly (preferably from below), so the compost does not dry out. In early spring your pelargonium (Angel Group) can go in a slightly larger pot with fresh potting compost.Cut back to approximately half, just above a young shoot.

As the weather gets warmer, feed and water it. By mid-spring it will be ready to head back outdoors to enhance your patio once more. Beware of frost. As this plant can be overwintered you can eventually grow a pretty large plant. Geraniums make great houseplants too.
Extra
This variety of (Angel Group) Pelargoniums has thick succulent stems that store a lot of moisture.
The plant can therefore tolerate drought and thrives well in pots and planters in full sun.
