Riot of colours
A riot of colours! The 'Festival' mix is a magnificent trio of hyacinths (Hyacinthus orientalis): the white 'White Pearl', the pink 'Pink Pearl' and the purple 'Blue Pearl'. This colourful trio stands out thanks to the wonderful fragrance as well as the colour! Give the potted bulbs a spot in your living room or garden. The flowers bloom in the spring.
Potted bulbs aren't frost hardy, so bring the pot indoors or protect the plant with bubble wrap. The hyacinths love partial shade. Water once a week. Give it extra water during dry periods. The flower bulbs come in a nursery pot.

How do I plant the hyacinth?
It’s best to plant the hyacinth in a glass as soon as possible after receipt. Fill the glass with water without it touching the bulb. There should be a distance of about 2 mm. Then put the glass in a dark area with a temperature of about 10 degrees Celsius.
After a while, the roots will have grown substantially and the bud is visible. As soon as the bud is 4 cm long, you can place the hyacinth in a brighter room. The room must still be cool. Once the flower bud has completely grown out of the bulb, you can put the glass in the warmer living room.
This Hyacinthus collection can also be grown in a flower pot or basket. Laat de bol iets boven de grond uitsteken en leg er wat mos of fijne boomschors op. Follow the above instructions and water the soil regularly.
